---From our Family Pastor

As a dad, I want noting less than the best for my kids. This is especially true when it comes to those I entrust with the physical and spiritual care of my children at church. My prayer is that you will find that you can entrust your children to the wonderful volunteers here at Mt View. We strive to provide a safe and fun environment in which kids learn about Jesus and how much He loves them. We also desire to help you disciple your kids in the home. If you ever have a question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or one of our volunteers.

Small Groups – 8:45 AM

This is an hour where kids are gathered together to dive into God’s Word and learn more about Him. We utilize a curriculum called The Gospel Project. We do our best to help kids understand Who Jesus is on an appropriate level for them. Check out the video below to learn more about the Gospel Project.

Kids Worship – 10:00 AM

During the Kids Worship hour, we utilize a companion curriculum called The Gospel Project Worship Hour. The kids review the same lesson from the Small Group hour, but are introduced to new activities and application materials. They also spend time singing songs about and to Jesus. Another great aspect of this hour is an emphasis placed on Mission work by missionaries across the globe.
We also realize that hanging out in a room for around 2 hours is difficult for anyone, so we take the kids to the gym to run off some energy at the end of our Kids Worship hour.

Our Wednesday night programming for kids is called 252. This is based off Luke 2:52 which states: “And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.” We believe that is what God desires for our kids as well. We utilize a great curriculum from ShareFaith that highlights the major stories from scripture.
We start off the night with a large group opening time where we sings some worship songs, and watch the short intro video for the lesson for the night. We then move into small age-graded groups for a time of diving into the lesson. We utilize activities and technology to continue engage the kids in the Word.
