Club 252

What’s 252 represent? It’s not our street address or the number of questions a 2nd-grader can ask in 20 minutes. Instead, everything we teach in
252 Basics is based on one of three basic, but powerful, truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52
  • I need to make the wise choice.
  • I can trust God no matter what.
  • I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Our curriculum is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus.

In addition, 252 Basics focuses on:

  • 150 Key Bible stories
  • 4 Faith Skills
  • 30 Life Apps (practical applications of God’s Truth)

First Look

First Look is a web-based curriculum designed for babies through 5-year-olds. Every element centers on giving preschoolers a first impression of their loving heavenly Father.

Everything we teach our preschoolers is based on one of three simple, but powerful, truths. The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths.

 – God Made Me
 – God Loves Me
 – Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever

We start with curriculum for Babies, providing a simple song to sing while changing a diaper. Toddler curriculum provides monthly activities for purposeful play. Extended toddlers adds a Bible story and craft each week. The real excitement starts when we reach the two-year-old and threes-through-fives and begin our Large Group/Small Group curriculum.

Small Groups

Kids Zone

While mom and dad are in “big church,” the kids are in the gym having fun doing activities and playing games that reinforce what they have learned in small groups. 2 hours is too long for kids to sit still, so we want to let them run and play, but we want them to continue learning about Jesus. Kids Zone is a great way to make this happen.
We have a rotation of parents and volunteers that help us to run Kids Zone.
The Student Ministry at Mt View seeks to help teens come to know and grow in their relationship with Jesus and other teens. We try to accomplish this through relevant teaching, fun & meaningful activities, and intentional relationship building. Our hope is that every teen who walks into our room will feel welcomed.
